SI ASHA FOUNDATION
Why this work matters
In Nepal, specialised services are still limited and often concentrated in major cities, making access difficult for many families across the country. As a result, children with intellectual and developmental disabilities often grow up at home, without access to education, therapy or support.
Si Asha Foundation exists to bring services closer and make access possible.
Lives reached every day
receive education and therapy every day
active and expanding
providing daily care and protection
through guidance and community work
How support becomes care
Adapted learning that respects each child's pace, abilities and needs.
Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and other supports to improve autonomy and wellbeing.
Safe and stable care for children who live far from our schools, are orphaned or in vulnerable situations.
Nutrition, hygiene, health monitoring and daily care that ensure stability and dignity.
Led by trained Nepali professionals and strengthened through continuous training and international collaboration.
Guidance and counselling so inclusion and care continue beyond the classroom.
Province by province
Nepal's geography should not decide a child's future. Our vision is to expand province by province, building a network of special education schools so families do not have to travel long distances to find support — and no child is left without education or therapy.
